The 488 is the last mid-engine V8 Ferrari before the hybrids took over, and buyers know it. Good GTBs and Spiders still sell quickly, and Pistas trade at a premium. If you're shopping one, line up the financing before you find the car. Otherwise the car finds another buyer.
What a lender looks at on a 488
Prices move with mileage, service history, spec and color, so check recent comps for the exact car you want. We look at the same things a careful buyer does:
- Service records, including the timing of major services.
- Original paint and accident history.
- Options that matter to the next buyer, like carbon packages and lift.
- Clean title, and the payoff if the seller still has a loan.
A pre-purchase inspection from a Ferrari specialist is worth every dollar. It protects you, and it makes the loan cleaner.
How Rizz Lending structures it
Rizz Lending loans spread monthly payments over 120, 180 or 240 months. They are not 20-year loans: each loan matures at 84 months, and at that point the remaining balance (a balloon payment) is due. The borrower can pay it off, apply to refinance it or sell the car. There is no prepayment penalty.
That long amortization is what brings the payment down compared with a 60- or 72-month bank loan. Just plan for the maturity. Most 488 owners we talk to expect to sell or move up within a few years anyway, and with no prepayment penalty that's easy.
The basics:
- Credit: typically a 700+ FICO.
- Down payment: at least 20%, and up to 40% depending on the car, the borrower and the loan amount.
- Amount financed: $80,000 minimum, up to $1M+.
- Use: personal use only. No rentals, Turo, ride-share or livery.

Dealer or private seller
We fund both. Buying from a dealer, we work directly with their finance office. Buying from a private seller, we verify the title, handle any lien payoff with the seller's lender and pay out securely, so you're not wiring a stranger six figures.
A hypothetical example
Say a buyer (made up for illustration) finds a 488 GTB and puts 25% down. They pick a 180-month amortization to keep the payment where they want it. Three years later they decide on a 296 GTB, sell the 488 and pay off the loan with no penalty. The 84-month maturity never comes into play.
