The Urus is the Lamborghini people actually drive. It takes four adults, groceries and ski bags, and it still sounds like a Lamborghini when you leave a stoplight. That's a big part of why so many buyers who never pictured themselves in a Huracán end up shopping for one.
It also means a Urus loan gets looked at a little differently than a weekend car. Here's how financing one works with Rizz Lending, what we check, and what to have ready before you apply.
What a Urus costs
Car and Driver lists the 2026 Urus SE, the plug-in hybrid that replaced the S and Performante, at a starting MSRP of $252,007 (Car and Driver). Options add up quickly. Carbon packages, bigger wheels and custom paint can push a new one well past that.
Used cars cover a wide range. Early 2019 and 2020 cars sit at one end. Low-mile Performantes like the one in the photo above sit at the other. That range matters, because the price you agree to sets your down payment and the amount you finance.
The Rizz criteria, in plain terms
We publish our basic criteria on the eligibility page. For a Urus, they look like this:
- Credit: typically a 700+ FICO for the applicant. We also look at the car, the loan amount and your overall profile.
- Down payment: typically at least 30% on a Urus. Luxury SUVs depreciate faster than most exotics, so we ask for more money down on them.
- Amount financed: from $80,000 up to $1M+. Almost any Urus clears the minimum once your down payment is in.
- Income: proof of income and a stable work history. Self-employed buyers are welcome with documentation.
- Payments: amortized over 120, 180 or 240 months.
That last point needs more than one line.
How the payment structure works
Rizz Lending loans spread monthly payments over 120, 180 or 240 months. They are not 20-year loans: each loan matures at 84 months, and at that point the remaining balance (a balloon payment) is due. The borrower can pay it off, apply to refinance it or sell the car. There is no prepayment penalty.
The longer schedule keeps the monthly number lower than a standard short-term auto loan on the same amount. The trade-off is a balance at month 84. Plan for it from day one. Some owners sell or trade the car before then. Some pay the loan down early, which costs nothing extra. Others apply to refinance the remaining balance.
We don't quote rates in this post. Your rate depends on your credit, the car and the deal. You can run your own numbers on the rizzlending.com payment estimator. It doesn't need an account and doesn't pull your credit.
A hypothetical example
This is made up for illustration. It is not a real customer or deal.
Say you find a used Urus with an agreed price of $300,000.
- At 30% down, you put down $90,000 and finance $210,000.
- You pick the 240-month schedule to keep the payment as low as possible.
- At month 84, whatever balance remains is due. You can pay it, refinance it (subject to approval) or sell the car and settle the loan.
Change any input and the result changes. A newer car, a bigger loan or a thinner credit file might mean a larger down payment is required. Put down more than the minimum and you finance less, which shrinks both the payment and the balloon.
What we look at on the car itself
We lend against the vehicle, so the car gets the same attention as the borrower. On a Urus, that means:
Year, mileage and history. A clean history report and documented service help. Gaps in records slow things down.
Price versus market. We want the price to make sense for that specific car. A hot spec can bring more than an average one, but the number still has to hold up.
Personal use. We finance cars for personal use only. No rentals, no Turo, no ride-share, no livery. An LLC can own the car as long as it isn't rented out or used for hire. Urus buyers ask about this more than most, because the car looks like a fit for chauffeur work. It isn't one we can finance for that.
Dealer, private party, lease buyout
You can buy a Urus several ways and still finance it through us. We do dealer purchases and private party sales. Private party is where a lender who knows the car matters most, since there's no dealer handling title and paperwork.
Leasing a Urus right now? Look at the lease buyout option. If you like the car and the buyout price is fair, financing the buyout is often simpler than starting over on a different car.
If you already own a Urus outright, a cash-out refinance lets you borrow against it.
How the process goes
- Check that we lend in your state. We're expanding, so start with the availability page.
- Apply. The application asks for the usual: identity, income and the car you're buying.
- Approval. Approvals typically come the same day, within 24 hours.
- Docs and funding. You sign the loan documents and we fund the purchase.
We're based in Riverton, Utah. Call 801-880-9955 if you'd rather talk it through before you apply.
Getting ready before you apply
Pull your own credit first and fix anything that's wrong. Have your income documents ready, including tax returns if you're self-employed. Get the VIN, mileage and a build sheet or window sticker from the seller. Plan on at least 30% down. Putting in more lowers both the payment and the balloon. If you expect to sell the car before month 84, factor that into which payment schedule you pick.
